Scan to Text extracts readable text from a photo or camera scan of a document. Point your phone camera at a receipt, letter, book page, or sign — the OCR engine reads and returns the text so you can copy or edit it.
How It Works
Your image is processed entirely in-browser using Tesseract OCR (a Google open-source OCR engine compiled to WebAssembly). No image is uploaded to any server. Works on any device with a modern browser.
