Repair PDF attempts to fix damaged or corrupted PDF files so they can be opened normally again. It works by loading the file using pdf-lib's most lenient parsing mode — which skips invalid objects, corrects malformed cross-reference tables, and caps out-of-spec numbers — then re-saving the result as a clean, structurally valid PDF. It's a fast, private, browser-based fix for many common PDF errors.
Upload the damaged PDF. The tool tries to load it using every available lenient option, then immediately saves a fresh copy with a normalized structure. If the file can be read at all, the repaired version downloads automatically. The result card tells you how many pages were recovered and whether any warnings were encountered during the process.
