What is EPUB to MOBI?

EPUB to MOBI converts open EPUB ebooks into the Kindle-compatible MOBI format. MOBI is the format used by Amazon Kindle devices and apps. Note: Amazon now supports sending EPUBs directly to Kindle via the Send to Kindle service.

How It Works

MOBI is a proprietary binary format and cannot be created in a web browser. The free desktop app Calibre is the standard tool for converting EPUB to MOBI, AZW3, or any other ebook format.
